My career has spanned every aspect of creative team building, from developing and directing external photo teams to building creative departments. These departments have included Creative Directors, Web Designers, Desktop Artists, Production Management and Image Retouchers. I am uniquely at home bringing the worlds of art and commerce together, involved with all aspects of brand-building. I lead talented teams to create compelling storytelling, brand imagery and experiences.
With over 25 years of branding experience, I have worked primarily in the retail direct-to-consumer market, focusing on fashion and home and lifestyle products. I was Chief Creative Officer at FULLBEAUTY Brands where I built eight distinctive, meaningful brands, growing FBB into its leadership position in the plus size digital space. I spearheaded the creative direction that highlighted the spirit and voice of the FULLBEAUTY portfolio of brands which led to two highly successful private equity transactions.
Prior to FULLBEAUTY, I was VP Creative Director at AGA, a direct marketing and design agency where I worked on branding projects for Bloomingdales, Sunglass Hut and Lerner. I have recently worked as a consultant to a start-up company, Bluffworks, to evolve their position in the men’s travel apparel space.
I hold a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design.
I am currently spending time mentoring Uwan, an at-risk young man who is transitioning out of foster care into productive employment and adulthood.
